Thanks to your investment we would have the opportunity to perfect
our application, to push the technological tools we use to their
maximum in order to identify the different emotions felt in front
of the boards and thus to create matches between people with
clearly identified tastes. This is already the case, but an
investment on your part would allow us to push this to its limits
and broaden the scope of possibilities. Science is increasingly
introducing art and their union is gradually becoming more
harmonious, so it is a profitable investment you would make,
focused on the future. Moreover, since we developed two projects
in parallel before focusing on only one, we could eventually link
our project 1, our smart glasses, to our project 2, the
application of meetings at the museum. Thus, people who have met
in this way would see works of art under the same prism with the
same information provided by artificial intelligence. This would
enrich their conversation and connection.
Investing in our project would allow you to promote an innovative
and original project, which allows solitaires to create a family
around taste. This original union would allow encounters without
borders and is in line with the theories of the democratization of
art, globalization and cultural omnivorism. If you want to support
these very worthy causes, as well as promote a young and
enterprising initiative, invest in Muse-Meet!
In order to convince you and get to know us, here is the history
of our project as a group and its conception.
We also exchanged about the mindmaps we did.
Amaury worked on 5 points in his map and discovered which
technologies were available in museums.
Ziqi also explored about technologies. We're thinking of combining
his results with Amaury's. He focused on the fact a family
exploration is different to an individual on.
Hongchen worked on 3 main points and compared the traditional
museums to the smart ones.
(Salomé) I saw in my exploratory that it was almost certain that
museums were going to connect with the Internet of Things. I
decided to ask myself whether it was a good thing or not for the
artistic experience. Sure, the advent of technology was going to
challenge museum experience, but was it going to improve it.”
Because we really liked the connected glasses we all encountered during our exploration, we decided to develop those and to make them fun for family quality time. We decided they could adapt to one’s age.
We also decided to not take “family” in a literal way, but to create a family not about blood, but about tastes. They could meet in the museum while travelling solo, to create news friends with common tastes.
We had to work on those project for the next week and to create a description and a wireframe for each one. We learnt how to use the Figma Website, and we also created a Glitch Website to describe the two projects on one page.
On the description we did a moodboard for each project, as well as
a benchmark analysis. We found references, we described the
service we wanted to offer.
But the description wasn’t enough, we also had to put some form on the concepts that only existed in our heads. So with the help of figma we created those 2 wireframe.
At this stage, we were still working on two projects and were
pleased on digging into both. They were different and didn’t
consist in the same experience so we liked working on both.
The teacher gave us good feedback, which only motivated us to work
on those projects more.
And indeed for next week, we had to work on those concepts even
more.
We learnt about mockups “Mockups are demonstrators of your
concepts that will allow you to easily get end-users feedback.
They provide a medium-fidelity representation of your projetcts.”.
To realize those we continued to work on the
Figma Website.
We also tested the mockups on
HackMD where we
created two templates. We conducted a test on 3 person for Smarty
and Muse’meet. After each test, we tried to see if the feedbacks
meant we had to change our mockups. Some answers, like Madeleine’s
or Zoe’s made us change it indeed !
It was interesting to confront our concepts and mockups we worked
the four of us on, and only showed to Julien Debyser, to other
person.
We were so happy with each one of our project. We really enjoyed
searching for fun facts and exhibitions for both of the projects. We
believed each concepts responded to the initial assignment
“Challenge museum visit experience for families thanks to Internet
of Things".
The meeting with the instructor Julien went well, and he gave us
nice feedbacks about our work. We were really pleased.
We didn’t know which project to choose, because we were very happy
with both. But thanks to the feedbacks of the other groups, we chose
Project 2, Muse’Meet, because we had more to say on it. Also it was
easier to develop, to implement and to have investor in it, as the
hardware with the connected glasses could have been pretty
expensive.
We finally chose to focus on Project 2, Muse’Meet, and we’ve noticed
that focusing on one concept rather than 2 was more productive and
engaging. We could all commit around a project.
To help us choose between the Smarty Glasses and Muse'Meet, we designed a big Mindmap taking everything we have done so far and summarise it:
We had to create a landing page that show our project, the landing
page has to be appealing so the investers could understand our
project and potentially contact us to provide their support.
The document page is also very important, it gives a deeper view
into the project, what we have done to reach the finished product,
and more detail about it.
